Talkdesk, a San Francisco-based technology company known for its cloud-based contact center and customer service software, embarked on a partnership with Skuid, a Nintex company, to tackle a challenge that many growing companies face: improving data visibility and reporting. Faced with the task of managing an extensive pre-sales process that involves gathering and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data from potential leads and current customers, Talkdesk found its methods of data storage—primarily spreadsheets and shared drives—inefficient and insufficient for its needs as the company scaled. The solution was to create a custom application that lived entirely in Salesforce, enabling improved accessibility for all pre-sales stakeholders and enhancing the ability to run detailed reports crucial for tailoring product and sales plans. Through collaboration with Skuid, Talkdesk successfully developed this application, achieving strong adoption within its Professional Services team and setting the stage for further innovation and process optimization in the future.
